1. Research Use Only

All products offered by Origen Labs are provided strictly for lawful laboratory research purposes only. Our materials are not intended for human or animal consumption, clinical use, diagnostic use, therapeutic use, or any other prohibited application.

By purchasing from Origen Labs, you acknowledge that the products have not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any similar regulatory authority unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Eligibility and Customer Representations

By using this Site or placing an order, you represent and warrant that:

You are at least 21 years old.
You are a qualified researcher, laboratory, institution, or other entity with the knowledge necessary to safely handle research materials.
You understand the risks associated with chemical handling, storage, transport, and disposal.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your purchase, possession, and intended use of any product complies with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations.

Origen Labs reserves the right to refuse service to any person or entity if misuse, unauthorized use, or lack of qualification is suspected.

3. Permitted Use of the Site

You may access and use this Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may view or download materials from the Site solely for your own personal, non-commercial research reference.

You may not:

5. Orders and Order Acceptance

All orders are subject to review and acceptance by Origen Labs. We may reject, limit, or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we believe the order may involve misuse, regulatory concerns, inaccurate information, or unauthorized purchasing activity.

An order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance. We may request additional information before approving or shipping an order.

6. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated and are subject to change without notice. Payment must be received in full before an order is processed for shipment.

Accepted payment methods will be displayed at checkout. If you choose ACH or e-check payment, you authorize a one-time debit in the full amount of your order from the account provided. Once submitted and authorized, such payments may not be canceled or revised.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, customs charges, import fees, or similar governmental assessments associated with your order.

7. Shipping

Orders are typically processed and shipped Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders submitted before the applicable daily processing cutoff may ship the same business day; orders submitted later may ship on the next business day.

Shipping methods, costs, and estimated delivery windows are shown during checkout. Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, Origen Labs is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping provider, customs processing, weather, or other events outside our control. Tracking details will generally be sent by email when available.

8. International Orders

Customers placing international orders are responsible for understanding and complying with their country’s import laws, restrictions, taxes, duties, and customs requirements.

If an international shipment is delayed, refused, seized, confiscated, or destroyed by customs or another authority, Origen Labs is not responsible for that outcome and will not issue a refund or replacement on that basis.

9. Title and Risk of Loss

Title to products and risk of loss pass to the customer when the shipment is delivered to the carrier for transport. After that point, the customer assumes responsibility for the shipment.

10. Refunds, Returns, and Replacements

Because of the nature of our products, all sales are final once an order has shipped. Origen Labs does not offer refunds for shipped orders.

Products are manufactured, packaged, and stored under controlled conditions. For safety, quality assurance, and regulatory reasons, products cannot be returned for restocking or resale once they leave our facility.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within seven (7) days of confirmed delivery and provide:

your order number;
a description of the issue; and
clear photographs or other supporting documentation.

If we verify the issue, Origen Labs may, in its sole discretion, provide a replacement for the affected item. Replacement of the affected product is the exclusive remedy. No cash refund, credit, or alternate compensation will be provided unless required by law.

Orders may only be canceled before shipment. Once an order has been processed for shipment or transferred to the carrier, it cannot be canceled, recalled, or refunded.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Any product sent back without prior written approval may be refused or destroyed without credit.

11. Customer Responsibility for Order Accuracy

You are responsible for reviewing and confirming all order details before completing your purchase, including billing information, shipping address, and product selection.

Origen Labs is not responsible for shipment failures, delivery issues, or incorrect orders resulting from information entered incorrectly or incompletely by the customer.

12. Lost, Delayed, or Carrier-Issued Delivery Problems

If a package is lost or delayed in transit, Origen Labs may assist with reasonable tracking efforts or carrier inquiries. However, once a package has been handed to the carrier, shipping events outside our control do not create a right to a refund or replacement unless otherwise required by law or expressly approved by us in writing.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, product descriptions, graphics, icons, branding, logos, layouts, images, software, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Origen Labs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No portion of the Site may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, uploaded, displayed, transmitted, or used to create derivative works without our prior written consent.

shipping delays, customs actions, or carrier-related issues; or
